New Position. New York family, new to Atlanta, is looking to hire an experienced and established property maintenance person with a strong background in landscaping. Majority of job duties will require lawn care and household repairs. Family will also require assistance with chauffeuring duties.
This is a 4½ acre property which 2 acres are well manicured. Family is requesting a highly knowledgeable individual with the experience and philosophy of a hands on approach. This requires all encompassing total management of lawn care, landscaping and hardscaping. Also, general household repairs and cosmetic upkeep for interior and exterior of residence. This is a hands on position. Driving portion of position will require mostly weekends.
Scope of duties:
- Handyman duties and minor repairs for the exterior and interior of residence
- Conduct daily inspections and identify potential issues
- Manage the appearance and upkeep of the residence and property
- Able to identify maintenance issues such as water leaks, mold, cosmetic issues
- Landscaping and lawn duties
- Maintain all property and lawn equipment
- Set up smart home apps for all property systems: irrigation systems, lights, pool and gate entrances
- Pressure washing
- Care and maintenance of family vehicles
- Plumbing and electrical repairs or installs, changing lightbulbs in high-to-reach fixtures and chandeliers
- Clean exterior patio and pool furniture
- Above average with technology and troubleshooting
Position requires someone with a minimum of 5 years of related experience working in a similar role for a private family, strong command of English, both written and verbal, excellent verifiable references from current and previous employers. You must be able to clear a criminal background check, clean MVR and have legal status to work in the US. Please submit your resume if you meet all the requirements.
