Placed. One of our long-time clients is seeking a part-time housekeeper to join their staff. This position is available due to a staff member needing to change their schedule. This is a 2 day per week position but for the right candidate the family is flexible to adding a third day. The options are: 3 days - Friday / Saturday / Sunday, 8 am – 8 pm. The two-day options are Friday / Saturday or Friday / Sunday, 8 am – 6 pm. If you opt for the 3-day position you will be offered health insurance benefits.
They’re searching for an energetic and highly experienced individual to maintain a clean and orderly environment. This home is furnished with high-end furnishings and delicate surfaces. Experience in formal homes and knowledge of proper care and handling is a must.
When working Fridays, you will share housekeeping and organization duties with the other housekeeper and staff. Saturdays / Sundays will primarily consist of housekeeping, tidying up high traffic areas, organizing closets, changing bed sheets and arranging bedrooms. Other duties consist of taking care of any left-over laundry from the week and all ironing needs. Additional duties include keeping the kitchen clean and clutter free, answering phone calls, taking messages, receiving delivered packages, and stepping in wherever you may be helpful. The principal would also like someone to walk the family dog on occasion. This position is ideal for someone who would prefer a 3-day work week and 4 days off.
Principal will only consider candidates who have experience working with other staff, is self-directed and has stable employment history in private homes. You must provide recent and verifiable references, pass an extensive background check and have a clean MVR. Legal status to work in the US is a must; excellent command of English both written and verbal is also required.
