New Position. An active couple is seeking a part-time housekeeper / laundress to maintain their three residences. Their primary Alpharetta home is approximately 8500 sq. ft. and will require housekeeping 2 days per week. Their second residence is a small Buckhead condo; approximately 1,100 sq. ft. and will require housekeeping once a week. The second condo which is right next door will only require occasional housekeeping. Both condos are 1-bedroom units. Family is very organized and “everything has its place”. Ideally, they’d like an individual who will continue to maintain an already orderly and clutter-free environment.
Overall duties: Detailed housekeeping, dusting, sanitizing and wiping down all surfaces with the appropriate products and tools. Important is the ongoing organization of all storage spaces including wardrobes, closets, cabinets, drawers, fridge and pantry. Laundry includes clothes, linens, towels and some sofa throws. Sheets are changed once per week and ironing is minimal, mostly men’s shirts and linens. Additional duties will be to keep track of cleaning supplies and let an occasional vendor in.
This is a great opportunity for someone with stable and consistent private home experience and verifiable references. Other requirements: clean background check and MVR, reliable transportation, excellent command of English both written and verbal, legal status to work in the US. Ideally someone who is familiar with the Atlanta metropolitan area.
