New Position. Excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeper/laundress with great organizational skills. This is for a wonderful family of 3 who live in the Buckhead area. They're seeking someone to ensure daily household chores are complete for their 8,000 sq. ft. residence. Ideally an individual with a pleasant disposition who can work with little to no direction and can take charge. Their current housekeeper of 7 years is relocating out of state at the end of January; they would like to start interviewing qualified candidates immediately.
Daily duties are detailed and sometimes heavy housekeeping, dusting, sanitizing, and wiping down all surfaces with the appropriate products. Very important is the ongoing organization of all cabinets, closets, and drawers. Family’s laundry is daily and is considered light to moderate. Excellent folding skills are a plus. Ironing is only necessary for bed linens and the occasional men’s shirt. The family may also request additional assistance with meal prepping 2 – 3 times a week. Other duties include household errands, grocery shopping, dry cleaning, keeping inventory stocked and replenishing home essentials and personal products. Family will provide a weekly list.
Employers are seeking someone with a professional approach to the position and requests to interview candidates who have worked in a similar job description. Must have recent and verifiable references, stable employment history and a clean background check and MVR. Other requirements: legal status to work in the US, fluent in English and reliable transportation.
