Position Placed. This is a terrific position for a very active individual. Individual is seeking an experienced executive housekeeper / cook, looking for to make a long-term commitment. The overall duties are to run the day to day of a 4000 square ft. residence with one occupant. Duties are typical housekeeping, laundry, errands, household inventory and preparing light healthy meals. This is a very casual work environment. Employer is willing to provide off site housing if you do not live in the area.
Qualities preferred are a keen eye for detail, comfortable in the kitchen and excellent knowledge of cleaning products and tools. Duties are daily detailed housekeeping, cleaning all surfaces and furniture with the proper products, laundry, moderate ironing to include clothing and bed linens and the on-going organization of closets and drawers. Monthly cleaning of baseboards, windows and windowsills, appliances inside and out, wiping down light fixtures and dusting. Additional duties will be tracking inventory for household supplies and essentials. Cooking is also a key component. Employer is always on the move and prefers to eat healthy organic meals daily to compliment their healthy lifestyle. Expectations are simple cooking to include a light breakfast and dinner.
To qualify for this position, you must have the skill set required and prior experience with verifiable references. Only candidates who have experience working in private homes will be considered. A clean background and MVR are required along with reliable transportation. You must have excellent command of English, oral and written and legal status to work in the US. Fluent Tagalog is a plus.
