New Position. A returning client is seeking a proficient and established executive housekeeper to take charge of the daily responsibilities of house cleaning, laundry and detailed organizing of their 8,000 sq. ft. home, with 3 occupants. Their current employee of 9 years recently relocated outside the Atlanta perimeter making the drive too far.
Central to this position is the capability of setting up a structured system to keep the residence on a consistent schedule. Candidate must know how to care for high end upholstery, collection pieces and artwork. Ideally someone who knows how to navigate around fine furnishings. Highly skilled with caring for family laundry and all bed linens and towels. Most importantly, the family is looking for someone with a joyful personality who can work independently.
Expectations of duties will include all aspects of general housekeeping, family laundry and some ironing. Organization is also key and they need someone who can maintain the organization of their closets, wardrobes, linen and towel closets and other storage areas. You will be asked to track staple items in the household and provide the Missus with a weekly list. Assisting with errands to grocery store, dry cleaners, pharmacy, etc. will be regular requests. There will be an occasional need to help assist with occasional family gatherings a couple times per year.
Qualifications needed is at least 3 years of private home experience working in a similar capacity and performing similar duties. Recent and verifiable references, fluent in English, Georgia license, and legal work status in the US. Must be able to clear an extensive background check.
