New Position. A returning client is seeking a talented, culinary trained Private Chef to join their household. This is a wonderful opportunity for an Atlanta based chef who is flexible to travel between Atlanta, Florida, and New York. The role is based in Atlanta, with extended stays in New York during the summer months. The general schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, with Mondays and Tuesdays off. There is an understanding that flexibility is part of the role, particularly during travel or when the family is entertaining.  All accommodations are provided when traveling to New York and Florida.

This is a well-run home with zero turnover. The household consists of two principals and their friendly family dog. They also employ two additional staff members who have been long-term employees. The family is respectful and value their staff. This role would suit a chef who enjoys being part of a team while confidently managing their own space in the kitchen.

The chef must have a basic understanding of, or prior experience working in, a kosher kitchen. They will oversee all aspects of kosher kitchen operations, including planning weekly menus, sourcing fresh and organic ingredients, and preparing daily meals in accordance with kosher standards and practices.

In addition, the chef will be responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen, ensuring proper food storage, providing clear reheating instructions when necessary, and keeping all areas—such as the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry—clean and orderly.

The family enjoys hosting and entertaining frequently, so someone who is comfortable preparing for guests and creating a welcoming, elevated dining experience will do very well in this role. There is always additional support when the family is entertaining, so it remains an enjoyable experience rather than overwhelming.

Interested candidates must be formally culinary trained with a strong understanding of proper kosher kitchen practices. Must be fluent in English, both oral and written, able to pass an extensive background screening and have a clean MVR and recent and verifiable references. Qualified candidates are invited to submit current resume for consideration.
