New Position. A busy Atlanta family is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant/House Manager to assist with the day-to-day management of their household, personal schedules, appointments, events, and various family needs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a busy private household. This position requires someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes initiative, and can manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision. While the position primarily supports the lady of the house, the individual must enjoy working in a family environment, be comfortable around children and pets, and be willing to step in wherever assistance is needed. Position Responsibilities
- Manage personal and family calendars, appointments, reservations, and scheduling
- Coordinate household maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and service appointments, including meeting vendors at the residence and overseeing work as needed
- Assist with daily household operations, organization, inventory, and ensuring the residence is properly stocked
- Handle personal errands, shopping, returns, gift purchases, wrapping, and shipping
- Assist with planning and coordinating family gatherings, special occasions, and nonprofit events
- Coordinate travel arrangements with the family’s travel advisor, including transportation, reservations, and itineraries
- Assist with nonprofit and philanthropic commitments, including scheduling meetings, organizing materials, and coordinating events
- Maintain household records, vendor contacts, schedules, and important documents
- Assist with household organization projects, seasonal preparations, and special projects
- Provide occasional assistance with the family’s children and pets as needed
- Anticipate household and family needs, follow through on projects, and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience working in a private household setting is mandatory
- Must be local to the Atlanta area
- Must be available to work full-time
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, and Apple products
- Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Flexible, dependable, and willing to assist with a variety of household and personal responsibilities
- Must enjoy children and pets
- Experience with event planning and philanthropic activities is a plus
To qualify for this position, candidates must have the experience and skill set required for the role, along with a stable work history and verifiable references. Only candidates with previous experience working in a private home in a similar capacity will be considered.
Candidates must have a clean background check and motor vehicle report, a valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Must have a good command of English, both written and verbal. We are looking for someone who is professional, discreet, dependable and highly organized. The right person will be comfortable working in a busy private home, able to take initiative and work independently, and understand the importance of maintaining complete confidentiality.
