Executive Housekeeper / Laundress / Cook, FT, LO (Buckhead) Atlanta, GA

New Position. A valued client of our agency, following a recent move into their new home, is seeking a full-time, experienced Housekeeper / Laundress to assist in maintaining the residence to the highest standards. This is a lovely family of three living in a beautiful new  9,500-square-foot home. They are seeking a knowledgeable and highly capable individual who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully kept, organized, and well managed household. The family offers a pleasant and appreciative working environment and hopes to find someone with the same positive outlook who enjoys taking pride in their work and seeing the results of a job well done. This position is 85% housekeeping and laundry.

The ideal candidate will have strong housekeeping and laundry experience working in a private home and be comfortable managing the everyday care of the residence. Responsibilities include detailed housekeeping, maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentability of the home, and ensuring that all primary living areas: bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas remain well cared for and presentable at all times.

Laundry and wardrobe care will be an important part of this role. Duties include washing, folding, ironing, steaming garments, and properly caring for bed linens, towels, and delicate fabrics. The candidate should also be comfortable assisting with closet organization and maintaining an orderly wardrobe.

In addition to housekeeping and laundry responsibilities, the family would appreciate someone who is helpful in the kitchen. This may include assisting with light meal preparation, helping with basic food prep, tidying the kitchen, and maintaining an organized pantry and refrigerator.

Strong organizational skills are highly valued in this role. The housekeeper will assist with maintaining order throughout the home, including closets, cabinets, drawers, and storage areas. The ideal candidate will also keep an eye on household supplies and notify the family when items need to be replenished.  Additionally, there may be a request on occasion to run a quick household errand

This role is best suited for someone with several years of private household experience, a broad knowledge of cleaning products and techniques, and experience maintaining a home on a structured schedule. The ideal candidate will be practical, dependable, and appreciate being part of a supportive family setting.

Must have Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a private home with similar duties
• Recent and verifiable references
• Cleaning product knowledge
  Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Fluent in English- written and oral
• Legal to work in the US
• Must live in the Atlanta area
• Drive and have daily use of an automobile
