New Position. A young professional couple is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for their 6-month-old infant, with plans to expand their family within the next two years. They are looking for a dedicated individual with substantial childcare experience who is interested in a long-term position. The couple works onsite at their residence but in a separate building, making them readily available for support when needed. This arrangement is also convenient since there will be no delays for the parents due to traffic. The nanny’s primary role is to ensure the child’s well-being, growth, and development in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Key duties include:
- Feeding the infant, preparing bottles, and maintaining a consistent feeding and napping schedule
- Diaper changes, washing and sanitizing bottles
- Engage in reading sessions, outings / excursions to the park, imaginative play, etc.
- Devote quality time ensuring the infant feels safe and nurtured
- Encourage educational challenges and promote social and engaging month-appropriate activities such as motor skills, social skills and cognitive learning and introducing finger foods
- Manage the infant’s laundry and ensuring the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Clean and sanitize all nursery surfaces and baby toys.
- Monitor and replenish child-related supplies
- Supervise and monitoring any changes in the infant’s behavior or health
This role a strong focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment for the child. The position offers a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional evening babysitting to accommodate date nights. Requirements: Prior nanny experience working with infants in a private home setting, recent verifiable refences, current CPR and First Aid certified, good swimmer, excellent driving record, able to pass an extensive background check and English as a first language (Fluent in Spanish is a plus). Must have legal status to work in the US.
