New Position. A Buckhead family is seeking a full-time professional, experienced housekeeper / laundress to maintain the day-to-day duties of their new residence. The family is seeking someone energetic with a positive attitude. Competitive pay is offered for someone highly experienced and who knows how to work with high-end furnishings and interiors. The family does employ a weekly cleaning service for the heavier and more detailed housework.
Duties will include all aspects of detailed housework, working with a daily and weekly routine. The family does expect all candidates to be well versed in appropriate cleaning methods and products. Overall laundry is considered moderate, mostly for active wear garments, linens and towels, including folding and putting away. Ironing and steaming are expected but not often. Most important is staying on top of organization and maintenance of closets, drawers, wardrobes, cabinets, pantries and other storage areas. Additional duties include some household errands, supervising a service vendor, inventorying and purchasing of household staple items and cleaning products and receiving deliveries and packages. Family has 2 school age children and 1 dog. There may be a request to walk or feed dog on occasion or the occasional pickup of children.
The family will require a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a private home with recent recommendation letters and references from prior employers. To be considered you must live in the Atlanta metropolitan area, have a valid driver’s license, be fluent in English both written and oral, proof of legal status to work in the U.S., have daily use of automobile and a clean MVR and criminal background.
