New Position. A busy professional couple with no children and 2 large friendly dogs are seeking a full-time executive housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of their 9000 square foot Brookhaven home. This couple is extremely neat and wants all aspects of their home to remain orderly and clean. The position requires someone with an eye for detail to maintain their standards. This family also travels frequently so someone who can work autonomously is needed.
You will be trusted in creating an efficient schedule that allows you to cover all rooms in the house on a weekly basis. Overall duties are daily detailed housekeeping, organization throughout, maintaining hardwood floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting lamp shades and fixtures, hanging artwork, baseboards, etc. Laundry day is usually on Tuesday and Friday and includes washing, folding, ironing and putting away garments, towels and bed linens and dog blankets. Other duties are keeping wardrobes, closets, linen closets and all other storage cabinets organized, receiving all delivered packages and occasional ordering household staple items online.
There will be frequent errand requests; dry cleaners, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. You will also be required to let in scheduled property vendors. Family will also require checking residence on weekends if they are traveling.
Family will require a minimum of 4 years of experience in a private home with recent recommendation letters and references from prior employers. To be considered you must live in the metropolitan area, (preferably in the Fulton or Dekalb County Area) have a valid driver’s license, be fluent in English, both written and oral, legal status to work in the US and a clean background check and MVR.
