Nanny / Family Assistant, Full-time, Atlanta (Buckhead), GA

New Position. An Atlanta family who’s also a returning client is seeking an experienced Nanny / Family Assistant to be a part of their active household. With three elementary aged children, the home has a busy and energetic rhythm with school mornings, afternoon activities, and family time throughout the week. The children attend school full-time, allowing a balance between hands-on childcare and supportive household responsibilities during the day.

The family is hoping to welcome someone who has a calm, positive presence. A nanny who is patient, engaging, and enjoys guiding children as they grow independent. Most of the role will be helping manage school pickups and drop-offs, driving to sports and activities, organizing playdates, and creating opportunities for both outdoor / indoor play. Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks, assisting with homework, and helping the children stay organized for the next school day are all part of the afternoon routine.

When the children are away at school, the position shifts into a family assistant role focused on maintaining order in child related spaces including resetting play areas, organizing bedrooms and closets, keeping up with children’s laundry and linens, and ensuring high traffic areas remain tidy and welcoming. The parents encourage an open communication relationship with their nanny, viewing this role as an extension of their parenting team rather than simply a set of tasks. Occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends is appreciated as family schedules evolve.

The ideal candidate will have stable experience working in a similar private-home environment, recent and verifiable references, and current CPR and First Aid certification. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a thorough background check are required. Fluent in English is necessary, and the search is focused on candidates already living in the Atlanta area.
