Housekeeper / Laundress, Full-time, Live-out, Atlanta, GA (Midtown)

New Position. A great opportunity is available in Midtown Atlanta working for a young professional couple.  They’re seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Laundress to maintain the day-to-day care of their residence. Employers are first time homeowners and are looking for someone who can establish a cleaning schedule based on their needs for their 7,000 sq ft residence. This position is ideal for an individual with years of experience working in private homes.  Job will require someone detailed oriented, able to work independently and committed to quality and consistency of their work. A candidate with strong knowledge in the proper care of high-end furnishings, including the use of appropriate products, tools, and techniques.

The position requires a hands-on approach; full-charge housekeeping being the main focus for daily detailed cleaning, overall home organization and maintaining family laundry. Other responsibilities will include routinely checking the interior of the house to identify potential maintenance issues, performing household errands as needed, and providing support during weekend entertaining / gatherings on occasion.

Interested candidates will have at least five years of recent and verifiable experience working in a private home in a similar role. The ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong standards is important, along with clear communication skills and fluency in English. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., pass a background check, and provide verifiable private household references.
