New Position. This is NOT a ROTA position. A professional Buckhead family is seeking two full-time nannies to provide consistent care for their two young children: an infant and active preschooler. The job schedules are designed to provide full coverage six days per week. Both nannies will work together, providing flexibility within their schedules, sharing responsibilities equally, traveling, and assisting with additional childcare needs throughout the year. The family values a candidate who is professional, consistent, and can maintain a nurturing environment where the children feel safe and thrive. They are looking for someone engaging, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team. During nap times or quieter periods, the nanny may be asked to assist with folding laundry, unloading or putting away dishes, tidying common areas, or helping with other light household tasks when time allows.

The family travels extensively during the summer. Travel time and responsibilities will be split between both nannies, allowing each nanny time off while ensuring the family’s needs are still met. Schedules are set each week, with flexibility needed to fill in for the other nanny when necessary.

Schedules:

Schedule 1:

  • Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
  • Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours)
  • 4 banked flex hours

Schedule 2:

  • Thursday, Friday & Saturday
  • Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours)
  • 4 banked flex hours

Scope of Duties:

  • Provide attentive care for the children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
  • Plan fun, age-appropriate activities, crafts, outdoor play, and outings that keep the children active and engaged
  • Follow the children’s daily routines, including hygiene, meals, naps, playtime, and bedtime
  • Prepare bottles, simple meals, and healthy snacks for the children
  • Change diapers, assist with potty training when appropriate, and help teach good hygiene habits
  • Drive the children to activities, appointments, playdates, and any other outings as requested
  • Travel with the family when needed and assist during family vacations
  • Keep the children’s bedrooms, playroom, and nursery neat, organized, and ready for daily use
  • Wash, fold, and put away the children’s laundry, including clothing, bedding, and towels
  • Keep the children’s clothing, toys, books, and supplies organized, and let the parents know when items need to be replaced or restocked
  • Share updates with the parents about the children’s day, routines, milestones, or anything they should know
  • Work closely with the family’s second nanny to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent care between schedules

When the family travels with one nanny, the nanny remaining in Atlanta will continue to work her regular schedule. During this time, she will focus on special projects such as household organization; rotating children’s clothing and toys; ensuring supplies and staple items are stocked; maintaining the children’s bedrooms and play areas; running household errands; making returns; dropping off packages; and assisting with other projects as needed. The family wants both nannies to remain productive and engaged in the household even while they travel.

The family will only consider candidates with a stable work history and 5+ years of nanny experience in busy private households. Requirements include a clean background check and motor vehicle report, valid driver’s license, up-to-date passport, current CPR/First Aid certification, strong swimming skills, and the ability to manage children with confidence.
