Housekeeper / Laundress / Family Assistant, Part-time, Atlanta, GA

New Position. A professional couple living in a high-rise in Buckhead is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper / Family Assistant to assist with their home’s cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation. Their current housekeeper of five years is relocating, and they are hoping to find someone dependable who is looking for a long-term fit. Both principals continue to work full-time, and they value someone who can take ownership of the home’s upkeep.

The role will focus on full, detailed housekeeping and general household support. Responsibilities include weekly changing of bed linens, thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all bathrooms, dusting (including baseboards, moldings, and décor), vacuuming and care of all flooring surfaces, and keeping the home in excellent overall condition. There will also be attention to detail tasks such as cleaning low-hanging light fixtures, maintaining floor-to-ceiling windows, and ensuring all spaces remain tidy. Everything has its place and would appreciate someone who naturally stays on top of organization in closets, cabinets, and storage areas.

In addition to housekeeping, the role includes light family assistant duties such as grocery shopping, keeping household staples stocked, and proactively replenishing items before they run low. There will be occasional tasks like placing dinner orders, handling online and in-store returns, dry cleaning, bringing in all deliveries, and breaking down and disposing of boxes. The position also includes caring for their small friendly dog, including walks while you’re in the home and feeding.

To be considered, candidates should have a minimum of four or more years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background working in private homes. Recent and verifiable references must be provided. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, is also important, along with legal authorization to work in the United States.
