New Position. An active and busy Atlanta family is looking for a consistent and responsible hands-on Nanny / Family Assistant to support their three school-aged children and household. They’re hoping to find someone who can become a trusted, long-term part of their family team.

This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with older children who are growing more independent, but still needs structure, encouragement, and a consistent adult presence. The family values real connection and engagement, so they’re looking for someone who is fully present with the children during working hours (no scrolling or phone use). They also maintain a no-device household, meaning no cell phones, tablets, or TV. The afternoons will focus on after-school support: school pick-ups, driving to activities, helping with homework, preparing simple and healthy snacks or meals, and keeping the kids on track with routines. The right person will know when to step in and help, and when to give the children space to grow and build confidence. Someone who communicates well, leads with patience, and sets a positive example will be a wonderful fit.

In addition to childcare, this role includes light family assistant support such as occasional errands (grocery runs, returns, prescription pick-ups, returns, etc.). You’ll also help manage school calendars, coordinate doctor and dentist appointments, and stay on top of the day-to-day details that keep a busy household running smoothly.

As the children continue to mature, there is room for this position to naturally grow into more family assistant responsibilities, including additional errands, light organization projects, and occasional scheduling support for the parents. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with a thoughtful family who values consistency, reliability, and a calm presence in the home. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, a confident and safe driver with a clean MVR, and someone who enjoys being part of an active household.

Requirements: Prior experience working with school age children in a private home setting, provide recent verifiable refences, a current CPR and First Aid certificate, excellent swimming skills, clean driving record, able to pass an extensive background check and English as a first language.  Must have legal status to work in the US.
