New Position. A private family in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Laundress to join their household staff at their Buckhead residence. The home is approximately 15,500 square feet with a modern interior and a curated collection of furnishings. This position is best suited for someone who has worked in a high-end private residence and is comfortable following an established cleaning schedule while working alongside other housekeepers.

The role requires a strong understanding of proper cleaning methods and products for fine surfaces, finishes, and furnishings. The family is looking for someone who works well as part of a team, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in their work.

Duties include daily detailed housekeeping, ongoing organization of drawers, closets, cabinets, and storage areas, and full responsibility for family laundry. Laundry volume is significant and typically takes one to two days per week, with duties divided among the housekeeping staff. Experience caring for designer clothing and fine linens is required, including spot treating, steaming, folding, and proper storage. Ironing is expected, though most garments are steamed; bed linens account for the majority of traditional ironing.

The position also includes occasional assistance with weekend entertaining, primarily around holidays. These responsibilities are shared among staff members and scheduled in advance.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Candidates should have at least five years of experience working in a similar role within a luxury private residence.
