Housekeeper / Laundress, Full-time, Atlanta (Buckhead), GA

New Position. An excellent full-time opportunity is available for a seasoned Housekeeper and Laundress to support a refined household in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. The residence is home to two occupants and is seeking to replace their long-term housekeeper of many years.  The family desires a professional who is dedicated to establishing a lasting commitment to their household.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in high end private residences, with proven expertise in caring for luxury finishes, fine furnishings, and museum-quality artwork and antiques. This position requires a meticulous eye for detail, the ability to follow and maintain a structured schedule, and the discipline to complete a full cleaning of the residence each week while ensuring the home remains impeccably maintained and guest-ready at all times.

The family requires assistance twice a month on Friday evenings for their traditional family dinner. Responsibilities will include light food preparation, table setting, and post-dinner cleanup.

Required Skills

• Broad knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• Basic knowledge of how to care for artwork, and antiques
• Polishing silver and specialty metals
• Laundering, pressing, and hand-finishing of bed linens and garments
• Wardrobe management for both male and female Principals, including organization, seasonal rotation, and couture garment care
• Maintaining a meticulously organized and functional wardrobe closet
• Physically fit
