Executive Houseman / Handyman, Atlanta (Buckhead), GA

New Position. As a Houseman and Handyman, this role is essential in maintaining the overall functionality, cleanliness, and organization of the residence while ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for the family. This role is 85% housekeeping and 15% handyman duties.

In the Houseman capacity, responsibilities include performing daily housekeeping tasks to include laundry, ironing, monitoring and restocking household inventory, and handling online orders and in-store returns. The role also involves most all household errands, receiving and distributing mail and packages, and ensuring the home remains well-stocked with staple items. Special occasions and holiday preparations are supported through assistance with decor and serving during gatherings. Additional responsibilities extend to special projects like organizing storage areas, coordinating airport runs, and occasionally assisting with entertaining. Handling emergencies, security concerns, and alarm-related issues at the Atlanta residence is also a critical function of this position.

As a Handyman, daily walk-throughs of the property help to identify and address any maintenance needs, ensuring a well-kept and fully functional home. Duties include changing lightbulbs, replacing air duct filters, and performing minor repair tasks. The role also involves light gardening, caring for indoor plants, and maintaining outdoor entertainment spaces, including removing debris, spiderwebs, and leaves from high and hard-to-reach areas. Family vehicles are kept in excellent condition through regular cleaning, fueling, and scheduling maintenance appointments. Additionally, the position requires assisting with property features such as fountains, entrance gates, and pool furniture in between service vendor visits. Coordinating and directing service vendors, fulfilling chauffeur duties when needed, and responding to various household needs as they arise round out this dynamic and integral role.

Requirements: 5+ experience working in a private home setting, provide recent verifiable refences, clean driving record, able to pass an extensive background check and English as a first language.  Must have legal status to work in the US.
