Experienced Housekeeper / Laundress / Dog Sitter, Live-in or Live-out, Atlanta (Savannah), GA

New Position.  A Savannah couple who travels extensively is seeking a versatile and experienced Housekeeper / Laundress / Dog Sitter to manage the daily operations of their home. As empty nesters with two sweet, elderly dogs who can no longer travel, they are looking for someone reliable and caring to provide both household and pet care support.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, adaptable professional with a broad skill set, a flexible schedule, and a warm, approachable demeanor. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking a long-term position; they employed their last housekeeper for 15 years before she moved outside of the US.  Therefore, the position offers room for growth and will evolve based on your abilities and expertise.

 Scope of Position:

• Live-In or Live-Out: Both arrangements are considered. For live-in candidates, private quarters separate from the main house are available.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the family’s travel schedule, including dog-sitting while they are away

Housekeeping Duties:

• • Create and maintain a housekeeping schedule
  • Perform detailed housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Maintain household supply inventory
  • Run errands, including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and managing online or in-store returns
  • Supervise household services and vendors
• Pet Care: Provide attentive care to the family’s two senior dogs, including feeding, companionship, and overall well-being
• Meal Preparation: Prepare simple, delicious breakfasts and evening meals following recipes

 Qualifications:

• Proven experience in private households with a stable work history and verifiable references
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S
• Clean background check and motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Reliable transportation
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
