New Position. A Marietta couple is seeking a housekeeper to split the week between their 3 residences. Their main Marietta home is expected to be cleaned on Mondays, Alpharetta home on Wednesdays and Lake Lanier home on Fridays. Homes are fairly sized ranging between 3,000 – 5,500 sq ft. Their goal is to hire someone who will bring each home to a maintenance level. Employers are very hands off, therefore the candidate they hire must be able to work independently.
Duties will include all aspects of detailed housework. Laundry is considered light to moderate and is mostly linens and towels including folding and putting away. Ongoing organization and maintenance of closets, drawers, wardrobes, cabinets and other storage spaces. Request for meal preparation will be occasional and usually something very simple. Other duties: receiving packages, stocking staple items and general cleaning supplies, receiving all packages, stocking homes with staple items, Employer’s personal items, performing household errands (dry cleaning, pharmacy, post office, store returns).
The family requires a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a private home with recent recommendation letters and references from prior employers. To be considered you must live in or near Marietta, have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR and criminal background.
