New Position. An Atlanta family of 4 with busy schedules is seeking an experienced full-time family assistant. They’re seeking an energetic individual to provide support to their two children and perform daily housekeeping and laundry. Children’s ages are 9 and 4 and both are enrolled in school programs.
In addition to ensuring the children’s wellbeing parents are searching for a someone who will have no issues with performing moderate housekeeping chores; the position is a 50% housework and 50% childcare. Maintaining the organization of bedrooms, closets, wardrobes, cabinet spaces, linen closet and kitchen pantry. Change all bed linens weekly, vacuuming carpeted rooms and area rugs. Other duties include washing and folding family laundry and putting it away. Ironing is minimal and usually consists of blouses and an occasional men’s shirt.
Additional duties are to assist parents with afternoon pickup from school, driving children to an occasional afterschool activity and assisting with homework. Assist getting children ready for bed. Preparing simple and healthy snacks and evening meals for children will be needed several times per week.
Top requirements for all candidates applying are a consistent and stable work history and minimum of 5 years of experience working in a private home in a similar capacity. To qualify for this position, you must be able to pass an extensive background check, MVR, present a current CPR and First Aid certificate. You must be fluent in English both written and verbal. Spanish speaking is a plus. Recent verifiable references are required.
