Position Placed. A Marietta couple, semi-retired, two occupants, are seeking a full-time professional, experienced in managing and organizing day-to-day duties of their 6500 square ft. residence. The couple is looking for an individual who can offer a variety of domestic skills. Personality will also be a very key component in whom they choose to hire. Happy disposition and energetic. These are hands off Employers and will be interviewing only individuals capable of working independently and able to serve as primary contact and agent for the Employers. Employer expects knowledge to assemble and hire household vendors and services, set up a weekly routine schedules with vendors and services, complete daily and weekly household errands and maintain household cleaning and laundry. Simple meal preparation would be a plus but not mandatory.
Duties will include all aspects of detailed housework, working with a daily and weekly routine. Overall, laundry is considered light, mostly linens and towels, including folding and putting away. Ironing and steaming are expected but very rare. Continuous organization and maintenance of closets, drawers, wardrobes, cabinets, pantries and other storage areas. Other important and frequent duties include receiving all packages, stocking the house with staple items, Employer’s personal items, performing household errands (dry cleaning, pharmacy, post office, store returns). Requests to take care of family lake house will be every two weeks. The visit will include general cleaning and stocking with staple items.
The family will require a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a private home with recent recommendation letters and references from prior employers. To be considered you must live in the Atlanta metropolitan area, have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR and criminal background.
