Personal Assistant / House Manager, Full-time, Atlanta, GA

Position Placed.  A busy, young family located in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant/House Manager to support the family household.  Much of the position can be performed remotely with expectation you will meet with Principal once or twice per week at their residence.  You will need to be on-site for any contractor/vendor appointments or tasks that need to be done around the residence. The ideal person will be trustworthy, honest and professional.  A discreet, patient, intelligent, proactive person who is highly motivated, hard-working and capable of maintaining confidentiality of all personal and business matters will do well in this position. Must be a polished, detail oriented, professional, adept at providing administrative support and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

While this position is geared more towards assisting the Mrs., it’s important that the ideal candidate love children, have a fun, upbeat personality and be ready to step in as needed should the family need extra support on any given day.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Must exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions without close supervision
  • Proactively manage coordination of personal calendars and anticipate any potential scheduling conflicts
  • Coordinate vendor appointments; personal calendar management; including appointments, community events, sporting events and more
  • Detailed file maintenance of multiple projects and vendors
  • Provide personal and administrative support for a wide range of duties and activities
  • Oversee research and other miscellaneous projects
  • Book flights (commercial and private) including international travel for immediate and extended family members
  • Extensive research into travel destinations, including family and dog friendly activities
  • Pet care for family’s two dogs
  • Personal shopper as needed:
    • Sending flowers to family, friends, business partners as instructed
    • Mail greeting cards as instructed
    • Shop, package personal gifts for family, friends and business partners as instructed
    • Ensure the residence is properly stocked; including properties prior to family arriving
  • Reconcile all credit card charges and process any relevant invoices
  • Catalogue family photo and video library
  • Type, compile, and prepare reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Support basic IT for hardware and software products
  • Assist with property maintenance and property enhancements
  • Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems
  • “Marie Kondo” method is used at the family residence – organize boxed items to keep, sell or donate

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality; integrity is paramount
  • Ability to follow direction, but also be self-directed and work independently, as well as with others
  • Experience or familiar with the following applications: Jetlinx, organization applications:  Clickup or Slack, Google Docs, Google Calendar and full knowledge of apple products
