Position Placed. Lovely Christian family in Alpharetta are looking for a full-time nanny to help assist with their 3 children; B9, G7 and B4. The 2 older children are home schooled with the 4 year old joining them in August of next year. These are engaged, hands on parents hoping to find a nanny who shares their faith and values. The parents promote lots of outdoor activities and fun field trips which will help build upon the children’s classroom learning. Children’s screen time is very limited and mostly used for educational purposes. The homeschool curriculum is very easy to follow with thorough step by step lessons. The parents also assist.
The children attend a traditional school on Tuesday and Thursday which will free up time to help with a few domestic duties on those 2 days. It will be expected you will perform cleaning and organizing of children’s rooms, care for their laundry; fold and put away and run a few household errands.
The family also prefers a person with the freedom to travel a few times a year. They travel to some very unusual and desired destinations around the world; it would be a great opportunity to visit these locations. Additionally, there could also be the occasional request for babysitting for a date night, should you want the extra hours.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in early childhood development with a readiness for teaching; able to encourage the children’s confidence. Need someone active and high energy, creative and positive, level-headed and kind, and most of all a huge communicator.
Requirements: Prior experience working with children in a private home setting, computer savvy, English as a first language, excellent driving record, CPR certified, good swimmer and upbeat positive attitude.
