House Manager / Cook / Driver, Full-time, Atlanta, GA (Buckhead Area)

Position Placed.  An independent, retired couple in the Atlanta area are seeking a full-time male to support their day-to-day lifestyle and home operations.  Both principals are healthy and very active.  For this role they prefer a male who is experienced and confident in a variety of skills.  Their goal is to hire someone who is looking for a long term commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general daily clean up and organization (they have a cleaning service 1 x per week)
• Update and maintain their outlook calendar with all appointments, meetings, social engagements, etc.
• Develop and submit weekly menus
• Prepare breakfast and dinner 3 times per week; no dietary restrictions, just healthy recipes and fresh ingredients
• Weekly household errands: grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, pharmacy, etc.
• Identify and report large maintenance and repair issues
• Perform minor repairs as needed
• Inventory and restock supplies and toiletries
• Assist with serving at small gatherings held at residence
• Schedule and manage household vendors and services
• Take in vehicles for detailing, maintenance and fueling
• Drive principals to appointments, social functions and anywhere they request
• Receive and assist with overnight guests
• Receive all mail and packages

To be considered you must have at least 5 years working experience in a private home, including a stable work history, have the flexibility to change work schedule on short notice and possess excellent verbal communication skills.  A culinary degree is not necessary, however  you must be comfortable in the kitchen.  Other necessary requirements:  pass an extensive background check, MVR, excellent English, and up to date vaccines.  You may submit an updated resume for consideration.
