Executive Housekeeper / Laundress, Full-time, Atlanta, GA (Buckhead Area)

Position Placed. A long-standing client is seeking an additional housekeeper / laundress to join their established team by mid-August.  This is an active family of 6 in the heart of Buckhead.  There is a total of 4 children; with a complete nanny staff in place.  Although there is no childcare involved, you must be child friendly.  In this position you will be report to directly to the estate manager.  Being a team player and willingness to assist in other areas when needed is a must.  You’ll be working in a fully staffed setting; a happy disposition will set you up for success.  The family does travel extensively to other residences therefore they’re in their Atlanta residence only 7 months per year.

Daily expected duties: all aspects of detailed housekeeping, family laundry to include sorting clothes to drop off at dry cleaners, pretreating stains, tables linens, bed linens and towels.  Organizational skills will be needed to maintain all closets, drawers and pantries.  Able to care for fine surfaces and furnishings including natural stone, hardwoods, handmade rugs and Calacatta marble.  Other expectations: water potted plants, perform occasional household errands, restock cleaning supplies and household staples.

Requirements:  5 years working in a large private residence.  Principal is seeking only individuals with hands on experience of cleaning methods and product knowledge used in a luxury residence.  All interested applicants must have a stable work history and verifiable references.  Other requirements: excellent command of English, legal status to work in the US, a clean background check and MVR.
