Butler, Full-time, Live-Out / In (Travel Required) Atlanta, GA / Multi Properties

New Position. A distinguished Atlanta family is seeking an experienced, polished, and service-minded Butler to work directly with Principals across their primary residence and additional properties. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to build a long-term partnership with the Principals and help shape a world-class standard of service within their home.

Butler will collaborate closely with Principals to set priorities, refine service schedules, plan projects, and establish household routines. Responsibilities will evolve as the Butler’s strengths are recognized and the household continues to grow.

Duties and Expectations

Household Operations & Service

• Maintain a beautiful, well-organized, guest-ready home environment.
• Provide exceptional front-of-house service including tea and beverage service, cocktails, welcome drinks, seasonal fireplace/outdoor firepit setup, and general personal service to the Principals.
• Assist with occasional meal service when the Chef is offsite.
• Learn all home systems to provide coverage during Estate Manager’s absence.

Travel & Property Support

• Travel ahead of the Principals to prepare properties and accompany them when departing.
• Live on property when Mr. Ring is traveling and Dr. Ring remains in Atlanta.
• Help pack and unpack for all travel, ensuring all necessary items are accounted for and organized.

Staff & Vendor Coordination

• Supervise and support household staff to ensure seamless continuity across properties.
• Lead the housekeeping team, ensuring standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation remain consistent.
• Direct the gardener and additional vendors as needed.

Entertaining, Décor & Household Presentation

• Oversee all aspects of entertainment, including florals, table settings, décor, and holiday design.
• Manage spring and fall deep cleaning.
• Oversee the care and upkeep of fine furnishings, artwork, antiques, wardrobes, silver, and linens.

 Personal Assistance & Daily Support

• Support the Principals’ calendars, appointments, and agendas.
• Drive the Principals to and from appointments, outings, shopping, and occasional personal travel.
• Provide daily pet care and occasional overnight pet sitting.
• Ensure all needs and preferences of the Principals and their guests are met to the highest standard.

Requirements

• Formal background and training in private service.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clean background check required.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and eye for beauty, order, and presentation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and plans.
