Employer prefers candidates to be considered currently live in the Southeast. Semi retired couple, no children, is seeking a hands-on House Manager / Family Assistant to assist in running the day to day operations of a beach front property located off the coast of Georgia. Family is adamant all candidates considered will have at least 4 years of experience working in a private home with similar duties.
Duties and Requirements: daily administrative duties which require a broad knowledge of procedural computer skills to keep household maintenance records and create/maintain household manual along with all family’s correspondence. Managing, coordinating and training household staff; scheduling and directing all in home services and vendors; keep inventory and purchase of all household items and provisions, assist chef with all dinner parties and large events at residence, assist with wardrobes of both Principals including packing and unpacking for trips; oversight of all family vehicles; and all other duties which would compliment the position.
Skills requested: Educated on rules of etiquette and formality, mature and professional, hands on team player; pleasant and congenial personality, knowledge of caring for high end valued furnishings and floor coverings, broad knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, experience with expensive fabrics and designer clothing, skilled in table setting, flower arranging and table service; formal and informal. Highly organized and able to take direction.
