New Position. A busy family is hiring a hands-on House Manager and Executive Housekeeper to manage the daily operation of their 12,000 square foot home. Family lives in the residence part-time and rents the residence frequently for parties and large events. The residence is one of Atlanta’s historic mansions which will require an individual who has many years of experience working in private homes of similar size and décor. Duties would include working with event planners to familiarize and assist with the scheduling and overseeing of setup and tear down of each event. Walk through before and after each event. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar size estate and be familiar with caring for valuable antiques, expensive floor coverings and artwork. Duties pertaining to family’s personal needs will be daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing, household errands, scheduling and managing vendors and assuring property is always presentable for showing. Requirements: MUST have private home experience minimum 4 years, computer skills, know the Atlanta area, able to work a flexible schedule including weekends; background in hospitality and cooking a plus. There will be frequent requests to work on weekends. If you prefer weekends free, this is NOT the job for you.
