Family located in Buckhead is in search of an experienced hands-on House Manager to oversee their newly renovated 15,000 sq. foot home on 7 acres. This will be a job description in progress. Overall expectations will be to run the day to day operations of the estate. This position calls for a versatile individual who has a wide ranged skill set and has a hands-on work history. The family is looking for someone who can work with minimum to no supervision and work well with additional staff on the property.
Duties include: identify issues and repair or schedule appropriate vendor or services, schedule maintenance and confirm all property equipment is in working condition, maintain appearance of residence and outdoor structures / guest house, obtain bids and cost for any projects, upkeep of the fountains and lake on site, ensure proper preservation of luxury autos, create preferred vendor list, manage all household and equipment manuals, as well as light handyman duties. General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry is required. Above average computer proficiency is required. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on a private estate in a similar job role with recent verifiable work history. Professional training or education in construction, electrical or mechanical engineering a plus. Fluent in English both oral and written is required.
