Private family is seeking a part-time Chef formally trained in the culinary arts with significant experience working in a private home setting. Experience in most cuisines is required but expertise in Mediterranean, Pescatarian, Vegetarian and Vegan is a must. Knowledge of organic produce and experience in cooking/preparing organic foods is of utmost importance. Meals to prepare will be lunch and dinner. Duties will include preparation of daily lunch and dinner for family, guests and staff, coordination of food and menu planning with primary chef, following established internal procedures with adherence to menus, shopping and purchasing the highest quality organic ingredients, assist with table setting and maintain the sanitation and organization of kitchen appliances, equipment and grill maintenance, inventory of kitchen and pantry provisions and all kitchen supplies and all other duties as will compliment the position. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in private homes with verifiable references. Must be able to work with other staff members. No egos need apply. Kind and easy disposition needed. Fluent in English required.
